The Swiss Water Process is the best decaffeination method which processes the beans solely by water, using no chemicals or solvents. This method permits the mildest possible treatment of the coffee beans and leaves neither a flavour taint nor trace of chemical solvent. We select our decaffeinated coffees as shipments arrive into the UK from Swiss Water. Interestingly, you will find Swiss Water-decaffinated beans darker than usual. Sometimes, they may sweat if you store them in a glass, plastic or metal container. Any condensation is normal and nothing to worry about, just coffee living its coffee life.
